Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Shamshera in full swing. The Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008) actor will make a long-overdue return to the big screen with the film that will be released on July 22, 2022. He is also at a wonderful place in terms of his personal life. He married Alia Bhatt in April, and the couple is currently expecting their first child. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor unveiled the first song from their upcoming film Brahmastra, Kesariya, yesterday. During the live chat with fans, Kapoor compared Alia to Amitabh Bachchan.
Alia Bhatt's performance in Imtiaz Ali's flick Highway (2014) really blew Kapoor away, the actor said as the duo promoted the song. After Student of the Year, it was her second film. RK was very pleased with her acting abilities and the film received positive reviews. He said, "When I saw Highway and all, I came to Ayan's house only. I was like 'ye to Amitabh Bachchan. nikli (She turned out to be like Amitabh Bachchan).' And in her second film. Meanwhile, Brahmastra, helmed by Ayan Mukerji will mark Ranbir-Alia’s first appearance on-screen. It is slated to release on September 9.
