Brahmastra: Deepika Padukone roped in for a powerful cameo in the Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer?
Deepika Padukone is said to appear in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, according to a new report.

Brahmastra is one of the most anticipated films of the year, having been in the works for nearly five years and having had its release date pushed back several times. With the film's promotion, Karan Johar and SS Rajamouli are leaving no stone unturned to make sure it reaches a wider set of audience. Following Chiranjeevi joining the cast of the film, new reports suggest that Ranbir Kapoor will reunite with his Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani (2013) co-star, Deepika Padukone, who will play a key role in the film.
A source connected to the project revealed that Deepika Padukone will make a cameo at the climax of the film or during the mid-credits scene. Her role in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer is also said to have a strong connection to the sequel. The source was cited saying, “Deepika Padukone is expected to have a smashing cameo in Brahmastra, and it seems that she readily agreed given her fantastic equation with both Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji since Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani."
Brahmastra marks Alia and Ranbir’s first film together. Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy also star in the fantasy drama. RRR and Baahubali director SS Rajamouli is presenting the film in south. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada on September 9, 2022. In addition to Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan is also said to have a cameo appearance in the film.
