It is true that many of us have moved from television to streaming platforms over the past few years, but there is still a large segment of the audience that prefers watching content on television. You can find a wide variety of shows on TV in different genres, ranging from crime to comedy.
Recently, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone was in the mood to watch some shows, so she took to her Instagram and asked her Insta-family for some recommendations. Several people recommended several shows, and Padukone went on to share the images of a few shows that were given as recommendations out of the millions.
Such globally popular shows as Fleabag, Ted Lasso, and Euphoria obviously made it to the list, but the only Indian show to make it to the list was Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the longest-running show on Indian television.
If you are also a diehard fan of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, you would know that Padukone has appeared on the show several times to promote her films. We do hope the Padmaavat (2018) star gets some time off from her busy schedule to watch Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
