Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor starrer cricket drama Mr And Mrs Mahi starts rolling

In Mr And Mrs Mahi, Bollywood actors Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao are set to share the screen space. The film, which was announced some months ago, began filming today on May 9.
A picture of the clapboard was shared on Dharma Productions' official Instagram page, which also revealed that the film’s shoot has commenced. Mrs And Mrs Mahi will mark Rajkummar and Janhvi’s second collaboration after the 2021 film, Roohi.
The film was announced by producer Karan Johar in November 2021. Its shooting is now underway.
On Day 1, Dharma Productions shared a photo of the movie's clapboard with the caption, “The field is set and team #MrAndMrsMahi is all geared up! Day 1 of shoot begins (sic)!”
Even Karan Johar shared the post on his Instagram stories. He wrote in the caption, "Best Of Luck to the entire team of #Mr&Mrs Mahi for starting the first innings! Knock it out of the park.”
He then went on to tag the film's director, producers, and actors. Rao and Kapoor will reportedly be playing characters named Mahendra and Mahima. On his Instagram account, Rajkummar Rao also shared Karan's story.
Mr. & Mrs. Mahi is described as a compelling tale of cricketing ambitions. Janhvi Kapoor previously shared details about her filming preparations. At a cricket camp, the actress was photographed with Dinesh Karthik.
