Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani to debut in cinemas on February 10, 2023

Karan Johar’s next directorial venture Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani has an official release date. The film, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles, will arrive in theatres on February 10, 2023.

Bhatt, who made her acting debut with Johar’s 2012 directorial Student of the Year, announced the release date of the upcoming film on social media. The announcement was accompanied by a video, giving viewers glimpses into some behind-the-scenes on sets. The film also features Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in significant roles and the BTS video also introduced viewers to the characters they play as Karan Johar directs them.

Bhatt dropped a beautiful caption along with the BTS video. “Loading it up with music, dance, an ensemble cast, a dash of drama and a whole lot of love just for you! Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani releasing in cinemas on 10th February, 2023! See you there to make this kahani complete,” wrote the actress.

Ranveer Singh also took to social media to announce the film’s release date. He wrote, “Isse kehte hai full entertainment ka dhamaka! We’re coming to you with love in our hearts blessed with parivaar ke sanskaar. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani releasing in cinemas on 10th February, 2023!”

Making the announcement, KJo said, “After 7 long years, it gives me such joy and gratitude to be here and announcing that my next Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, a love story at its heart with the soul of family values - is releasing on 10th February, 2023. See you in cinemas with an abundance of entertainment that we are getting ready for you!”

Karan Johar last directed Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016), featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in starring roles.
