As Beast is all set to release on April 14, all eyes are on Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film with director Vamshi Paidipally. Tentatively titled Thalapathy 66, the film is produced on a massive scale by Dil Raju and Shirish. It is said that the pre-production work is almost done, and the film shooting is expected to begin soon. Reported to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, the film will also have stars from Kollywood and Tollywood. Talking about the casting Pushpa girl Rashmika Mandanna has been roped to romance Thalapathy Vijay in the untitled film. An official confirmation on the same is still awaited.
Along with that that Mehreen Pirzada is likely to be roped in for 'Thalapathy 66'. Mehreen Pirzada, who played the leading lady opposite Dhanush in 'Pattas', is also a popular actress in Telugu, and the actress has been part of several successful films like Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha, Phillauri, Nenjil Thunivirundhal. Though The full list of cast and crew of 'Thalapathy 66' is expected to be announced officially before the film hits the floor. The shooting of 'Thalapathy 66' will be happening after a formal muhurat puja, and the team will be heading across places for the film shoot.
What comes as a shock is that Vivek Oberoi is also said to be part of 'Thalapathy66'.
