After being body shamed on social media, actress Divyanka Tripathi responded furiously. Divyanka started on Instagram that she does not have a "flat stomach" and advised followers not to inquire as to whether she is "pregnant or overweight." The "idiots who have no sensitivity and sensibility" were another group she denounced.
The actress shared a video on her social media and captioned it, "Grooving to life beats unabashedly! (Reading a few comments I am compelled to write- 'I don't have a flat stomach like ideal woman image portrayed. Deal with it! Don't ask me again if I'm pregnant (face with hand over mouth emoji) or fat (flushed face emoji)! My first instinct was that I should delete the video....but no...I won't! You who want people to look a certain way- change your mindset! I'm not even obese and few make ugly comments... how harsh you must be with those who actually have bodyweight issues!"
She stated, "Shame on the fools who use social media with no tact or sense! This video's initial focus was on unrestrained dancing; it is now focused on living freely. In case you hunt for them in my comment section, I blocked those that have ugly minds. I'm the devil if they're evil!)."
