Doctor G: Ayushmann Khurrana's first film to receive an A rating
Doctor G is the first Ayushmann Khurrana movie to obtain an A certificate from the CBFC. On October 14, the film will be released, which also stars Shefali Shah and Rakul Preet Singh.

The Central Board of Film Certification has awarded Ayushmann Khurrana's next movie, Doctor G, an A certificate, putting him on track for a career first (CBFC). Shefali Shah and Rakul Preet Singh are also featured in the Anubhuti Kashyap-directed flick.
About the Movie
The movie's story, written by Sumit Saxena, Saurabh Bharat, Vishal Wagh, and Anubhuti, is that of an aspirant orthopedic surgeon who becomes a gynecologist. Shefali portrays his teacher, and Ayushmann plays the doctor. In the movie, Sheeba Chaddha portrays his mother.
No changes have been made to the movie itself, but two alterations have been made to the trailer's censor certificate. Nipple se doodh nikalna (to extract milk out of nipples) was changed to "humare mohalle me ladke cricket khelte hain aur ladkiyan badminton (boys play cricket and ladies play badminton in our colony)" in the trailer's certificate. Another sequence that involved a husband and wife talking to a doctor was cut from the trailer. Doctor G will be screened in theatres on October 14.
In a press release, Anubhuti stated that "Doctor G is a lighthearted comedy-drama that is clutter-breaking and will be a refreshing viewing for the audience" among all the recent action, thriller, and fantasy-led films. In addition, she acknowledged her happiness at being able to screen her movie without making any extensive alterations.
"The trailer has garnered excellent reviews, and it merely gives audiences a taste of the fun and entertainment the movie will have," he added.
I'm happy the audience will see the complete movie because it will stay with them for a long time."
Amrita Pandey, CEO of Junglee Pictures, continued, "An actual Ayushmann Khurrana film should be provocative, high on entertainment, and quietly breaking preconceptions. It is a film for young adults exposed to solid yet sensitive and humorous content, even though it lacks any explicit material, and they can, of course, watch it with their families. Being under 2 hours, Doctor G will be appealing and refreshing because there were no proposed edits, and we can show the movie exactly as it is in theatres.
