Ananya Panday says she watched Gehraiyaan with Suhana Khan, Shanaya Kapoor; reveals their reaction

Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday's childhood best friends, watched Gehraiyaan (2022) with her and described them as extremely reactive viewers. Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Dhairya Karwa were also part of the film, which is directed by Shakun Batra.

Suhana and Shanaya congratulated Ananya on the release of Gehraiyaan and shared their excitement on their Instagram Stories.

Ananya revealed what her soulmate best friends thought of the film in an interview with the media portal. Ananya said, “I sat with them while they were watching it. I sat between them - Shanaya was here (gestures to her left), Suhana was here (gestures to her right) - and they are the most reactive audience that you can get. Every scene, they were like, ‘Oh my God, what is happening? Tell us, Ananya.’ I am like, ‘Just watch the movie.’ But we celebrated after watching and that’s all I can ask for.”

She also spoke about the importance of her best friends in her life, she said, “Your girlfriends are your soulmates is what I truly believe. They are the ones who understand exactly what you are going through because there is such a sense of empathy and understanding and just being good listeners in that sense. I am not taking away from men in any way but that’s my experience with my girl best friends. There’s just a lot of love, encouragement, understanding, and thoughtfulness with my girls,”

The actress also revealed that she has received messages from Alia Bhatt, Kiara Advani, Mrunal Thakur, Taapsee Pannu, and others, and she is overwhelmed by the response, which she got from the industry.

Ananya is working on interesting upcoming projects such as Vijay Deverakonda starrer Liger and Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. While Shanaya Kapoor is all set to make her Bollywood debut in a project by Karan Johar.
