Mehreen Pirzada replaces Kajal Aggarwal to star in Nagarjuna’s The Ghost?
If reports are to be believed, Kajal Aggarwal opted out of the film because of pregnancy.

Tinseltown of Tollywood is buzzing with reports that Mehreen Pirzada has replaced Kajal Aggarwal in the upcoming Telugu film The Ghost. The film features seasoned actor Akkineni Nagarjuna as the male lead.
Kajal Aggarwal had bowed out of the project some months ago, citing personal reasons. Later, some media outlets reported that the actress decided to opt out because of her pregnancy.

Sometime ago, reports were doing the rounds on the internet that actress Ileana D'Cruz would fill her shoes, which turned out to be false. The latest we hear is that Mehreen Pirzada has been finalised to star in the film. The makers are about to make an official announcement regarding the same soon.
Billed to be a thriller, The Ghost is being directed by Praveen Sattaru. The team has already wrapped up two schedules. Mehreen Pirzada, who has previously been part of films like Phillauri (2017), F2: Fun and Frustration (2019), and Manchi Rojulochaie (2021), is expected to join the sets during the next schedule. She is presently busy filming her upcoming film F3 with Venkatesh and Varun Tej.
Nagarjuna is currently busy shooting for his upcoming family entertainer Bangarraju. He will soon join the sets of The Ghost. The upcoming film also stars Gul Panag and Anikha Surendran in important roles.
