Janhvi reveals what her ex-boyfriend Ishaan Khatter texted her before Mili’s release

With Dhadak, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter made their Bollywood debut in 2018. The pair were said to be dating around the time of their movie's release. But they quickly drifted apart. Ishaan and Janhvi still get along well despite their breakup. Both of them have frequently discussed one another in public. The movie Phone Bhoot featuring Ishaan and Mili starring Janhvi, clashed in theatres today. When talking about the clash Janhvi revealed her relationship with her past love interest Ishaan and asked whether it had any effect on her.

Regarding him, Janhvi remarked that "we would always root for each other." She said, “He recently wished me luck for Mili in a message, and I replied, "Right back at you!" I believe there was some competitiveness present. Laughing, of course! We sincerely hope for the best for one another, dil se (from the heart). Together, we set off. We'll always have some of ourselves rooting for one other.”

After working together on Dhadak, Janhvi and Ishaan were rumoured to be dating for some time.

Mili

The Hindi version of the Malayalam film Helen, titled Mili, is also directed by Mathukutty Xavier. The male lead in the movie is played by Sunny Kaushal and will be seen playing Janhvi’s love interest.

Phone Bhoot

Galileo Parthasarthy, also known as Gullu, and Major Sherdil Shergill are portrayed in the movie by Siddhant and Ishaan, respectively. They work together on a mission with Katrina Kaif, who appears as a ghost. The film, which is made by Gurmeet Singh under the direction of Excel Entertainment, is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhawani.
