Tabu starts shooting for Drishyam 2 after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 trailer release

In February, Ajay Devgn took to social media to announce that the much-anticipated thriller Drishyam 2 had officially begun production. Now, actress Tabu has jumped on board by participating in the filming process. The actress posted to Instagram on Tuesday, April 26 to share a behind-the-scenes picture, hinting that she'll be reprising her role as IG Meera M. Deshmukh.
The actor shared a picture of the clapperboard, which has the title of the film written in bold. Tabu revealed that it was her first day on the sets of Drishyam 2 in a photo with a colorful background. She captioned the picture, “Day 1. Drishyam 2”.
According to reports, the film is being shot in Goa. Devgn, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta are all set to reprise their roles in the sequel.
Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Krishan Kumar produce Drishyam 2, which is co-produced by Sanjeev Joshi, Aditya Chowksey, and Shiv Chanana.
The news of Tabu's addition to the cast of Drishyam 2 comes only hours after the much-anticipated Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 trailer was released. Kartik Aaryan plays ghostbuster Rooh Baba, who appears to be able to free Kiara Advani from the grip of an evil spirit in the comedy-horror film. The brief trailer contains numerous comic moments, bringing viewers on a hilarious roller coaster ride. However, internet users have compared the sequels to Akshay Kumar's 2007 film of the same name. The film is directed by Aneez Basmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar under the T-Series brand. On May 20, 2022, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will be released in theaters.
