Tiger Shroff and Shashank Khaitan to collaborate on a romantic-action entertainer
The action film will begin production in Portugal in August, with Tiger Shroff along for the ride and awe-inspiring landscapes of the country.

Tiger Shroff, who is currently filming for his upcoming project Ganapath, is set to join hands with filmmaker Shashank Khaitan for his next. Shashank is best known for movies such as Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), Dhadak (2018), and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014). A recent report claims that Khaitan and Shroff are collaborating on an untitled project that will shortly begin filming in Portugal. The crew will launch the actioner in Portugal in August amid the nation's breathtaking picturesque landscape.
A source close to the development revealed, "Portugal is a film-friendly destination offering generous tax rebates, local crew pools, rental companies and strong production support." Once Govinda Naam Mera is completed, director Shashank Khaitan is anticipated to take a reconnaissance trip to Portugal.
"The director intends to wrap up the video featuring Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani, and then head to Portugal for the recce. The movie is backed by Karan Johar. While Tiger has earlier featured in Karan’s Dharma Production Student of the Year 2 (2019), this movie marks the actor’s first project with Shashank. A number of action and chase sequences, and some romantic songs will be filmed in the three-week schedule. The remaining schedules will be conducted in India and other countries," added the source.
The lead actress for the film hasn't been selected yet. Shraddha Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor are reportedly in talks for the actioner.
The film is set to start rolling in August this year.
