Global star Priyanka Chopra completes 10 years in Hollywood but says ‘As an actor, I am still new here’
In a recent interview, Priyanka Chopra spoke candidly about her ten-year Hollywood career.

Our Desi girl has been achieving big heights in Hollywood for a long time. Priyanka Chopra made her Hollywood debut with the American TV series Quantico, where she portrayed the part of Alex Parrish, and quickly rose to fame all over the world. Later, she appeared in films like Baywatch, Isn't It Romantic, and The Matrix Resurrections. Priyanka Chopra, a multi hyphenate superstar, is well aware of her position in the industry. Although Priyanka concedes that she has accomplished a number of noteworthy achievements in India, she is still a relative newcomer to the American scene. The Jee Le Zaraa actress recently admitted that she is still a rookie in the acting world and that she still has a lot to accomplish.
Priyanka said, “I am a high-achiever, I have always been a high achiever. I am someone who is goal oriented. I like challenges, growth, evolution, and knowledge. When you combine all of these things, there is a lot more that I want to do. If I break it down, I have had an incredibly successful career as an actor in India. I have worked with the best filmmakers, and I have done films that I am really really proud of. And now I want to be able to, as an actor, create that body of work in the English language which is in America.”
Further, she mentioned how she is still a newbie in Hollywood saying, "As an actor, I am still new (in the US). After 10 years of working here, I have just about reached the point where I am doing the kind of roles I want to, where I have the kind of credibility within the industry that I have worked really hard for, where I have trust with the partners that I am working with."
The actor is now working on a number of Hollywood projects. In the meantime, Priyanka just wrapped up filming for her upcoming series, Russo Brothers Citadel, which will be available to view on Amazon Prime Video. Along with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt, Priyanka will also appear in Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa.
