Nikkhil Advani confirms Rocket Boys Season 2

The latest streaming show which has been creating quite a noise ever since its premiere on SonyLIV is Rocket Boys. Starring Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh in lead roles, the eight-episode series has received a rousing response from the audience. Buoyed up by the terrific response coming in from various quarters, the makers have confirmed a second season of the show.
Rocket Boys marks the maiden collaboration between Roy Kapur Films and Emmay Entertainment. Nikkhil Advani of Emmay Entertainment confirmed the news of the show being renewed for a season two.
Talking to a publication, Advani said, “The intention to create this show can be summed up in one line: It’s sad if the youth of this country has only cricketers and film stars as its heroes. They need to learn about people like Bhabha and Sarabhai who were not only scientists, but also Renaissance (men). They encouraged art and culture, and set up institutions. They paved the way for India to become what it has today.”
In addition to Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh, Rocket Boys also features Regina Cassandra, Saba Azad and Namit Das on the primary cast.
