John Abraham is gearing up for his next film, Ek Villain Returns. The trailer of the film dropped yesterday, July 30, and has wowed the audience with thrill and brings back the nostalgia of the original Ek Villain (2014). Yesterday, the film’s lead cast including Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria attended the trailer launch along with John Abraham.
Abraham is paired opposite Disha Patani in the film. In an interview, Abraham was asked about his equation with Patani in the film. In addition to providing an answer, he also addressed his on-screen chemistry with former co-stars, such as ex-girlfriend Bipasha Basu. John and Bipasha were in a nine-year-long relationship back then.
When asked about his chemistry with the Baaghi 2 (2018) actress in comparison to his ex-girlfriend Bipasha Basu, John said, “I think there are certain actors I have worked with in the past, with whom chemistry was lovely, but with Disha, it is absolutely fantastic. And you will see it when you watch the film.”
“It happens with rare people that you see them on screen and feel yes, it’s really working. And with Disha, I felt that and it’s really nice," he added.
Ek Villain Returns, directed by Mohit Suri is slated to hit the screens on 29th July, 2022.
