'Isko Rajshri ne sign kaise kar liya?' When Farah Khan shared a funny anecdote about Rajshri signing Salman Khan for Maine Pyar Kiya

Choreographer turned filmmaker Farah Khan is known for her jovial personality and her fun banter style. Once, on a reality show, Farah was asked who was the one celebrity who gave her a hard time while teaching dance. To this, Farah recalled the time when Salman Khan had asked her to teach him a few dance steps before the audition of Rajshri Production's Maine Pyaar Kiya (1989).

Narrating the incident in her signature fun style, Farah said, 'Salman ne mujhe bola dance steps sikhane ko Maine Pyaar Kiya ke audition se pehle. Hum dono saath me gaye they Rajshri ke office par main chaar ghante baad bhaag gayi. Baad mein Salman ne bataya ke usko film mil gayi hai. Main sochne lagi, isko sign kaise kar liya Rajshri Films ne? (Salman had asked me to teach him a few dance steps before the audition of Maine Pyaar Kiya. I had also accompanied him to Rajshri office but I fled after 4 hours. Later, when Salman told me that he has been selected for the lead role, my first reaction was- How did Rajshri Films sign you for Maine Pyaar Kiya?"

"Par baad me jab maine film dekhi tab mujhe pata chal gaya ke kyun sign kiya. He was supremely phenomenal in it (But later when I saw the film, I realised why he was signed; He was supremely phenomenal in it)," she added.

Noteworthy, Farah Khan and Salman Khan have been friends for almost three decades and share a very close bond. Salman did a guest appearance in Farah’s 2010 film Tees Maar Khan which starred Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.

When asked about the duo coming together for a film in the future, Farah said that she would love to work with Salman but then she'll only offer him a film if the script does justice to his larger-than-life persona.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently shooting for Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, a social comedy slated to release on 30 December 2022. He will also be seen in a cameo as Prem in Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's much-awaited film Lal Singh Chaddha (2022).

Furthermore, Salman will also make a special appearance in Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham starrer Pathaan (2023) and appear in a full-fledged role in Tiger 3 (2023), alongside Katrina Kaif.
