Anushka Sharma took a long pause from movies after giving birth to daughter Vamika but now she is back with a bang. The actress has a jam packed schedule, having a slew of projects in her pipeline. Her production company is working on a number of exciting projects, and she is now a mother to one year old Vamika. Though she wasn't seen on the screen, her social media has been in the limelight. She actively posted on social media and kept the fans updated with the ongoings in her life.
She recently shared a throwback picture from the time when she was not a mother. In the picture, she is seen donning a black and white polka dot dress. In front of her are two cups of coffee on a table. She looks cute and charming as she flashes a sweet smile at the camera while scrolling through her phone.
Sharing the picture on Instagram, she captioned, "#throwback to the time I could drink not one but two cups of ‘hot’ coffee in peace and then even scroll my phone maybe! #ifyouknowyouknow".
Speaking of the work front, Anushka Sharma was last seen in Zero (2019) alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. She is all set to make her comeback with the film Chakda Express. It will stream on Netflix and is based on the life and times of former Indian cricket captain Jhulan Goswami. The actress has already begun preparing for her role as cricketer Jhulan Goswami in the film.
In a news report, Anushka said, “At a time when Jhulan decided to become a cricketer and make her country proud on the global stage, it was very tough for women to even think of playing the sport. This film is a dramatic retelling of several instances that shaped her life and also women’s cricket". Chakda Xpress is directed by Prosit Roy and produced by Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh Sharma's Clean Slate Filmz.
