John Abraham’s Attack locks a new release date
Directed by debutant filmmaker Lakshya Raj Anand, Attack stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh, alongside John Abraham.

Last seen in Satyameva Jayate 2 (2021), John Abraham has a slew of exciting projects on his platter. He is presently gearing up for the release of his much-awaited film Attack, which will feature him as a super soldier.
Directed by debutant filmmaker Lakshya Raj Anand, Attack also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles. The action-thriller is allegedly inspired by true events of a hostage crisis.
If the teaser of the film is anything to go by, Abraham will play an artificial intelligent super-soldier who combats terrorism. Rakul Preet Singh, on the other hand, reportedly plays a scientist and Jacqueline – a flight attendant.
Just like several other films, Attack has also seen multiple delays in its theatrical release. The film was initially supposed to release during Republic Day 2022, but the coronavirus pandemic threw all plans into total disarray. It is now set to open in cinemas on April 1, 2022.
Announcing the new release date for Attack on his social media handles, Abraham also dropped a new poster of the film and wrote in the caption, “Get ready to witness our country's first super soldier and his strike to save the nation's pride. Attack - Part 1 releasing in cinemas worldwide on 1st April, 2022.”
