Mahesh Bhatt, a veteran filmmaker, became sentimental after his daughter, actor Alia Bhatt, married actor Ranbir Kapoor. Pooja Bhatt, director-actor and Alia's step-sister, shared photos of Mahesh Bhatt hugging his son-in-law, Ranbir, on Instagram. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor married on Thursday in a small ceremony.
Mahesh is seen in the first photo laying his head and hand on Ranbir's chest while the actor is holding him. In the second photo, Ranbir and Mahesh were hugging. While Mahesh was solemn, Ranbir could be seen smiling.
The photo was taken shortly after the couple got married at Ranbir's Bandra home Vastu. Pooja Bhatt captioned it “Who needs words when one can listen & speak from the heart?
Mahesh and his wife Soni Razdan have two daughters: Alia, who is younger, and Shaheen, who is older. Pooja is Mahesh's ex-wife Kiran Bhatt's daughter.
Pooja also shared a family photo with Soni, Mahesh, Shaheen, Rahul Bhatt, and Tina Razdan Hertzke, among others. She captioned the photo, "Clan!
Soni posted a new family photo on Instagram, which included the Kapoors and Bhatts posing together in the same frame. The newlywed couple was pictured with their families in the family photo.
