Salman Khan confirms playing Indian spy agent Ravindra Kaushik in his next
In his three-decade-long career, Salman Khan has never portrayed a real-life character on the silver screen.

Superstar Salman Khan has confirmed that he will play Indian spy agent Ravindra Kaushik in his next film, set to be co-produced by his sister Alvira Agnihotri and brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri. Earlier, there were reports that the actor was planning to make a film on Kaushik and now he has confirmed the same, leaving his diehard fans super excited.

For those not in the know, Ravindra Kaushik, popularly known as Black Tiger, is regarded as one the best spies India has ever produced. He penetrated the ranks of the Pakistan Army. He loved theatre and performing on stage. It was his talent that led to the RAW spotting him and utilizing him as a great asset for the country. RAW sent him to Pakistan, where he completed his LLB and joined the army, and became a commissioned officer. From 1979 to 1983, he passed on critical information to the Indian defense forces.
Salman Khan, who debuted in 1988 with Biwi Ho To Aisi, has dozens of blockbusters to his credit, but he has never played a real-life role in his storied career. This will be the first time the actor will take on such a character.
Meanwhile, Khan is presently busy promoting his latest film Antim: The Final Truth (2021), co-starring his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, the film entered theatres on 26th November and has been performing well ever since.
The superstar next will be seen in Yash Raj Films’ much-awaited Tiger 3. The film is the third installment of the successful Tiger franchise and also sees Katrina Kaif as Zoya Rathod. It is set to arrive in cinemas in 2022.
