Mouni Roy wants to be a part of the larger-than-life films in the South Industry

Mouni Roy has transcended from television to films seamlessly. The ‘Naagin’ fame actor will now be seen in the much-awaited film by Ayan Mukerji. The film is headlined by Bollywood’s beloved couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The film is part one of an exciting trilogy.

In a recent interview, Mouni shared her thoughts on the South film industry. She said, “I am keen on being a part of films down South, and I really think they are making some brilliant content. I am dying to be a part of the larger-than-life movies they are making.” In the same conversation, Mouni shared her favourite television show. She revealed that her go-to show is ‘Friends’. “‘Friends’ is my go-to show. Whenever I am really happy or sad, I start watching Friends as it makes me feel good. I feel like I am hanging out with them” she said. She further added, “I love them all, but I feel that I am a combination of Rachel and Phoebe myself.”

Brahmastra’ also stars legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan alongside Nagarjuna. Recently a Shah Rukh Khan cameo in the film was confirmed as the character ‘Vayu’. Fans are eagerly awaiting the film's release. As for the leads, Ranbir and Alia are currently enjoying their baby moon in Italy.
