Brave heart Delhi rape victim Nirbhaya's 'juvenile' rapist is released after three years of confinement and the country's conscience is troubled by this. One prime Bollywood actor who has protested against the release of this rapist is Farhan Akhtar . He has asked the decision of the honourable court to be revised.
Farhan asks a question that "Is the so-called juvenile reformed? Keeping in mind that such is the law of the land, which in my humble opinion, requires a re-evaluation itself, there should be a series of psycho-analytical tests done on the man by leading experts in the field to understand if he is in fact reformed,"
The actor suggests that if the juvenile criminal, who is now an adult, is found to have not reformed after the tests, then a re-trial has to be there. Farhan said "If the tests to prove his reformation prove inconclusive, he should be tried again in a court of law as an adult,"
