It’s Official! Deepika Padukone to star in xXx 4
Filmmaker DJ Caruso confirms Deepika Padukone’s role in the upcoming Hollywood film xXx 4.

Deepika Padukone headed towards Hollywood starring alongside Vin Diesel in xXx: Return of Xander Cage. She was largely appreciated for her role of Serena Unger and soon she became an international celeb walking the red carpet of Met Gala and Cannes. And now, stepping ahead in her Hollywood career she has signed xXx 4!
Director DJ Caruso confirmed Deepika’s role in the fourth part of xXx while replying to a fan's tweet. In which, he also stated that other stars including Ruby Rose and Nina Dobrev will be part of this upcoming venture. He has called out a meeting next week, to discuss the story and shoot helming dates with the cast.
In January 2017, xXx: Return of Xander Cage released in India in both English and Hindi languages. It earned average collection at the box-office. xXx 4 is likely to get kick started by next year. Even it will be based on the thriller plot like its precedents.
Back in Bollywood, Deepika is presently filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati. It stars her alongside her beau Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. This larger than life film is expected to release this year in November. Other than this, she also has few interesting projects like Sapna Didi and Badlapur 2 in hand.
