Actress Jacqueline Fernandez has participated in the 'Unforgettable' campaign jointly ventured by the Sri Lanka Wildlife Conservation Society (SLWCS) and Colombo Jewellery Store (CJS) for the protection of wild elephants in Sri Lankan villages- Pussellayaya and Weheragalagama.

To launch the 'Unforgettable' campaign, Jacqueline participated in the elephant walk through the elephant corridor beginning at the Weheragalagama village, along with Chairman of CJS Akram Cassim and SLWCS Founder and President Ravi Corea. Further she voiced her own thoughts, saying that the brands like CJS and SLWCS can spur immense awareness and educate not only the inhabitants of the village but also the general public for the need to conserve elephant in the wild. Due to human development these gentle giants are often driven out of their own environment and have nowhere to go, and she wants to do her bit by supporting this cause.

'Unforgettable' campaign will work in the process of balancing the nature and to eliminate the human-elephant conflicts in the Sri Lankan villages by taking the internationally adapted eco-friendly measures.
