The beauty with million dollar smile, Madhuri Dixit has been supporting UNICEF from past one year in the area of child rights. The actress has also did some key public service announcements related to prevention of child labour, child protection and child trafficking. Going by the report, Madhuri Dixit has now associated herself with 'Celebrity Advocate for Child Rights' by UNICEF.
Madhuri allotted her time to understand well the diverse aspects of 'Convention on the Rights of the Child). The actress believes that every protection, development, survival and participation of the child must be equally realized. She is a part of a distinguished list of eminent personas, who serve on behalf of the world's children. Madhuri intends to highlight the fact that every child and his or her every stage of life is important and requires to be given attention. She has also spotlighted on the significant issues related to women. She may visit the UNICEF-supported programmes in the nation as well as participate in advocacy and fundraising events and meet high level government officials, as per the report.
Madhuri Dixit will be visiting Madhya Pradesh on June 26 as her first field trip. Then there will be several child rights and other events. Madhuri along with UNICEF intends to work for the betterment of children and women.
