Nargis Fakhri to raise fund for J&K flood victims
Over a month from now till her birthday on October 20, Nargis Fakhri will raise funds for Jammu Kashmir flood victims

International model turned actress Nargis Fakhri has a humane side too to her glamorous facet. This can be rightly said with her recent initiative which she took to help the flood victims of Jammu-Kashmir. Instead of celebrating her birthday lavishly, she has pledged to raise the fund with ketto.org to support the victims with the survival kits. The fund raising activity will go on for a month from now till her birthday on October 20.
Nargis requested her fans to join this initiative while informing them with the following post: "I want to help in a larger way and use my voice to help mobilize more people and thus decided to initiate a month long online fundraiser with 'Ketto', as a run up to my birthday, and have people's donations sponsor survival kits for people and families in Kashmir. We end up spending so much on ourselves on occasions like birthdays which don't really help change anyone's lives. I'm actually glad tjhat I'm able to use the occasion of my birthday to ensure that my fans and I truly help make a difference to those in need."
