We have seen celebrities lending a helping hand and setting up NGO's for the affected farmers in India. Bollywood handsome hunk Salman Khan will be soon arriving with a television reality show called 'The Farm'. The show will display the celebrities living together for some time period and doing the mundane chores around a farm such as raising animals and performing agriculture. Through public telephone vote, one of the contestants will be out of the farm in regular period. The last one who stays at the farm will become the 'Top Farmer'. The roots of this show are dipped in a British reality show with the same title.
The discussions are going on between Salman and Raj Nayak, the CEO of Colours for arriving with an Indian version of the show. Salman Khan said "'The Farm' has the same concept as that of 'Bigg Boss'. Celebrities will be spending close to four months on the farm. Here they will have to do everything by themselves right from milking the cow and goat to farming and sowing. There will be a farmer present who will teach all the techniques of farming to the contestants."
