Rasika Dugal onboards Amazon Prime Video’s The Chosen One

Critically acclaimed actress Rasika Dugal, who is known for such notable films as Qissa (2015), Manto (2018), and Lootcase (2020) and successful streaming shows like Delhi Crime, Out of Love, and Mirzapur, has bagged yet another exciting project.
According to reports, Dugal has signed on to headline an upcoming streaming show for Amazon Prime Video. Titled The Chosen One, the project is being touted as a horror-cum-thriller. We also hear that it is based on an international format that the makers have adapted in Hindi. Well-known filmmaker Nikhil Advani is bankrolling it under his banner Emmay Entertainment.
The show has already mounted the shooting floor and Dugal has commenced shooting for her part in it. Filming is currently taking place in Tamil Nadu, as per reports.
In addition to The Chosen One, Rasika Duggal will also be seen in an upcoming Bollywood film, titled Sherdil. To be directed by Srijit Mukherji, the film is based on a shocking true incident and revolves around a man vs animal conflict. Seasoned actor Pankaj Tripathi also essays a prominent part in the film.
