Janhit Mein Jaari, starring actor Nushrratt Bharuccha, is the most recent film to join the bandwagon. In the satirical comedy film, the actor portrays a woman who sells condoms.
On Friday, the film's producers unveiled the trailer. The video showed Nushrratt's struggles and challenges as a saleswoman who had to deal with social taboos while fighting against her family and society. The film will be released in theaters on June 10th, directed by debutant Jai Basantu Singh and produced and presented by Vinod Bhanushali and Raaj Shaandilyaa.
The makers expect Janhit Mein Jaari to be an eye-opener for the audience as content-driven films become more popular. The trailer starts with Nushrratt, who was initially unwilling to work for a condom company for a lump sum payment, eventually consented to be a part of it. She sought to promote condom use while emphasizing its relevance through her employment. A part in the riveting trailer also addressed people's stereotyped views about condom use and the numerous taboos that come with it.
Before the trailer, the filmmakers released a teaser for the film, which drew a lot of attention from fans. The film is set to be released on June 10th. Apart from Nushrratt, the film also stars Vijay Raaz, Anud Dhaka, Annu Kapoor, and Paritosh Tripathi in prominent roles.
