Pankaj Tripathi claims he will never again use abusive or vulgar language in his films

According to Pankaj Tripathi, he has chosen to refrain from using foul language in his movies and television shows. In a recent interview, Mirzapur native Pankaj, who is known for portraying foul-mouthed characters in movies and television shows, the most well-known of which is Kaleen Bhaiya, made the latest claim.

2004 saw Pankaj make his acting debut in Run, followed by Omkara (2006). He has been in a number of movies and television programmes. But in 2012, he became well-known for his part in the television series Gangs of Wasseypur. Since then, he has appeared in a number of movies, including Newton, Stree, Ludo, Fukrey, and Bareilly Ki Barfi. He is most known for playing the lead role of Akhandanand Tripathi in the web series Mirzapur. He has also appeared in Criminal Justice, Yours Truly, and Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors.

Pankaj on using abusive language on-screen

In response to the question of whether he would stop from calling people names in his movies, Pankaj responded,"Ji meine taye kar liya hai ki mere jo bhi kirdaar honge ati aavashyak hua toh mein use creative tarah se dikhaunga" (Yes, I have made the decision to not do that. If my character calls for it, I'll decide to portray it in a unique way.)

Pankaj stated in a 2020 interview that he doesn't condone "abusing on a whim." "When actors abuse on screen, they do so in a specific setting," he declared. I don't encourage or approve of abusing someone on a whim. Unless the situation calls for it, I refrain from using foul language in my scenarios. Being ethically conscientious is not necessary. I just am aware of what I provide as an artist.
