Ever since the Season 3 of the series has been announced, fans are really excited to see their favorite star Pankaj Tripathi again as advocate Madhav Mishra. Finally, the makers of the most anticipated courtroom drama Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach dropped the trailer on Wednesday. The trailer shows how Madhav handles his toughest case yet and comes face-to-face with a lawyer completely unlike him, played by Shweta Basu Prasad. With Swastika Mukherjee, Purab Kohli, Aditya Gupta, Deshna Dugad, and Gaurav Gera by his side, Madhav Mishra is back with wit and humor.
The trailer opens with a woman named Avantika (Swastika Mukherjee) approaching Pankaj's character and asking him to speak for her son Mukul. The catch is that Mukul is accused of murdering Zara Ahuja, a well-known child actor, his own sister. Even his fingerprints found on the murder weapon point to Mukul, although he insists on being innocent. When Madhav's opponent informs him that the case against his client is clear-cut, the amiable attorney answers, "Seedha aur simple to mere syllabus mein hai hi nahi" (Straight and simple are not in my syllabus). But eventually, even Madhav starts to question the strength of his argument. "This situation, this family, and this youngster are all beyond my understanding," he tells his wife.
Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach is directed by Rohan Sippy and produced by Applause Entertainment in collaboration with BBC Studios. The show will start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on August 26.
