KJO shares a hilarious incident from Alia-Ranbir Kapoor's wedding and explains how the makeup artist came to his aid

Even as pics from Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's wedding receptions flooded social media, fans were eager to learn more about the couple's wedding festivities. And, thanks to Karan Johar, a pretty funny story from Alia and Ranbir's Mehendi ritual has now been shared. The couple held their Mehendi ritual at Vastu residence in Mumbai, with friends and relatives in attendance. Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Karisma Kapoor were among those who attended the bash. KJo has now revealed what happened to him at the Mehendi ceremony.
The filmmaker, who recently finished filming the final episode of Hunarbaaz with Parineeti Chopra, revealed details about the intimate party. KJo revealed what happened after he revealed that he had decided to apply henna to his hands when Alia gets married a long time ago!
The filmmaker-producer, who also happens to be Alia's mentor, disclosed that he forgot he had Mehendi on his palms and promptly wiped his face. As expected, the henna splattered all over his face. Puneet, Alia's makeup artist, came to his aid at this point.
He further said “I am not used to mehendi being on my hand, toh bahut gamri bhi thi aur phir mai apna paseena pahuchne laga. Mai bhool gaya mere haathon mei mehendi thi, toh saara mehendi jo hai mere sarr pe, mere maathe pe, mere chehre pe lag gaya. And immediately mujhe wash karna padd gaya, Waha Puneet thi, jo alia ka makeup kar rahi thi toh wo mujhe andar leke gayi and mujhe lotion aur pata nahi kya kya daal dia mere chehre pe. Nahi toh poora henna mere chehre pe hota.”
Everyone, along with Parineeti Chopra, who is a judge on the tv series, and Bharti Singh, who is the host, was taken aback by the filmmaker-producer. In terms of Alia and Ranbir, the couple looked stunning in red at their Mehendi ceremony. Alia wore a multi-colored lehenga with a red base, and Ranbir matched her in a matching ethnic number.
