Priyanka Chopra is the latest fan of Indian documentary Writing With Fire; congratulates the team for Oscar nomination

Amidst the chaos of a newborn, the actress is still trying to keep up with new movies and documentaries that are getting recognition worldwide. The fierce actress never stays behind when it comes to acknowledging the good work that is being created in our country. Talking about good work, Writing With Fire, a documentary about Dalit women journalists recently bagged an Oscar nomination which has made India proud. 

While praising the documentary, PRIYANKA CHOPRA JONAS shared the poster of Writing With Fire, on Instagram. The actress said ‘Loved this movie! She also lauded the team by saying, ‘Congratulations on a much deserved Oscar nomination! kl_meera suneetaprajapati7 rintuthomas mentalsyrup.’  Writing With Fire is a story of highly spirited women who are journalists of a community newspaper, Khabar Lahariya, and their journey from print to the digital world. The documentary directed by filmmakers Sushmit Ghosh & Rintu Thomas received huge acclamation around the globe.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas had also shared an inspiring post on the gram this women’s day that said, ‘To the women before me that fought the fight, I thank you, to the women after me, I will continue that fight’. She also posted pictures of incredible women trying to help the Ukrainians in the time of war. The actress herself is an inspiration to millions of young girls who are trying to make the best of their lives.
