Brahmastra: Ranbir Kapoor’s Shiva explores his power in the teaser of the film’s new song ‘Deva Deva’
Makers of Brahmastra announced the next song from their film Deva Deva to be out on August 8.

One of the most awaited films of this year is the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra. Ever since the announcement of the film, it has always been in the headlines for its posters, trailer, or its first song Kesariya. Today, Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji has released the teaser for the second song in the movie, named Deva Deva. He also revealed that the track will be released on August 8th.
Arijit Singh has given his voice to the devotional song Deva Deva, which was written by Pritam. Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics. The 44-second short effectively conveys the idea of the movie through some stunning visuals. Shiva (Ranbir) teaches the idea of light and the power it possesses to Isha (Alia) in the teaser. Isha questions Shiva about his search for light, and we get several glimpses of Shiva and Amitabh Bachchan experimenting with fire. Shiva is experimenting with his power; he can be seen playing with fire and broadening his horizons by evaluating his own value.
Ayan shared the teaser of the song on his social media and wrote, "DEVA DEVA Teaser. (And the rest of it - out on this coming Monday - the day of Lord Shiva) Deva Deva - was the first song to be composed for Brahmāstra, capturing right away the Soul of Shiva’s Journey in the movie! It has given me so much Energy and Joy over the time it has been with us…And I’m really looking forward to finally sharing the feeling of this Song with everyone - on August 8th !"
Brahmastra is produced by Dharma Productions and also stars Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. The film is slated to be released on September 9 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, making it one of the most widely distributed movies in Indian cinema.
