Did Alia Bhatt reveal how many kids she wants to have?

On Monday, Bollywood star Alia Bhatt shared a picture of her ultrasound on Instagram to reveal that she was expecting her first child. Her husband, Ranbir Kapoor was also seen in the picture. After almost 5 years of relationship, Alia and Ranbir got married on April 14, 2022.

Alia shared the image of her ultrasound on her social media and captioned it, “Our baby ….. coming soon.” With the couple announcing their pregnancy, the internet is on fire with the news trending all over Twitter and Instagram.

Celebrities and fans started pouring out love and wished the couple on their new journey. Many celebrities, including Priyanka Chopra, Rakul Preet Singh, Karan Johar, Tiger Shroff, and others, left heartfelt congratulations in the video's comments section.

Earlier, during an interview at the Filmfare awards in 2018, the actress spoke about how planning baby names seemed interesting to her. She mentioned, “I’ve not had the life of an average 20-year-old. By average, I mean any other 20-year-old. Maybe, another 20-year-old would have had a life way tougher than mine. So, I will not understand their point of you and they may not understand mine. Everyone’s story is different based on the life they’ve lived. Also, I don’t know if it’s just because I’ve turned 25, but of late, I’ve started thinking of baby names. I’m a baby myself but for some reason, baby names seem attractive to me.”

The same year, Alia had posted a video with her friend Akansha Ranjan where she had revealed how many kids she wanted to have. The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress had expressed that she wanted to have two kids.

While the couple celebrates and enters this new phase of their lives, they both will appear together in the film Brahmastra.

The film is slated to release in theatres on September 9, 2022.
