Amitabh Bachchan posts a fun BTS video of Goodbye’s promotional strategy

The promotional approach for his next movie Goodbye has been made fun of by actor Amitabh Bachchan. Amitabh asked his staff about the film's promotional pitch in a humorous video he uploaded on Twitter. As the group members gave him advice, he continued to feel disappointed.

Amitabh settled down on a couch to begin the film, then asked the team what to say on camera. He stated, "Looking at the camera," "We are promoting Goodbye, so what are your thoughts? he then enquired about his crew. Do you have any ideas after spending the last 15 to 16 hours here talking?" He was informed that it was 25 hours by a voice.

After that, someone offered the tagline "good stories generate good memories," to which Amitabh responded, "So life is a large story made up of small stories." Then he asked the individual, "Why? What's wrong with large stories, exactly?" Another person suggested the promo line be "spending time with family," but the actor also rejected that idea.

An impressed Amitabh remarked on camera, "Hasta la vista (Spanish), aau jo (Gujarati), ashchi (Bengali), mee yeto (Marathi), and in English it's called Goodbye, after a woman presented her "Hasta la vista" proposal. However, we say mee yeto, which implies we are leaving in anticipation of reuniting. So, good bye for now and see you soon. Aau jo, ashchi, mee yeto, and hasta la vista all mean "see you later."

Another voice reminded Amitabh that the promotions were still ongoing as he prepared to leave. Amitabh added his touch to the promotional statement near the end of the video. So, that's the promotional line. Jab Jaane ki Khushi Ho Phirse Milne Ka Toh Tabhi Mann Karta Hai. (We want to meet again when we leave happily).” After saying the line, Amitabh asked his team, “Did you get it? No? So many ideas have been discussed I’m leaving now.”

Amitabh captioned the video, “T 4400 – Presenting the promotional video for our film #Goodbye! If you understood it then it’s okay or else #GoodbyeTrailer is coming tomorrow, you will understand it then! #Goodbye releasing in cinemas near you on 7th October 2022 #GoodbyeOnOct7 #TrailerOutTomorrow.”
