Sweet! Katrina Kaif's shoutout for friend Bosco Martis directorial debut Rocket Gang

Rocket Gang starring Aditya Seal and Nikita Dutta released in theatres on Friday. Produced by Zee Studios, the musical has been helmed by ace choreographer Bosco Martis (of Bosco-Ceaser duo).

Rocket Gang marks a watershed moment for Bosco Martis, who is making his directorial debut with the film. Having worked with all the top Bollywood stars as a choreographer, there is a lot of hype surrounding his first film as a director.

Katrina Kaif supports her friend Bosco as his film hits theatres

As a kind gesture, Katrina Kaif, whom Bosco has choreographed in many films, took to Instagram and gave a shoutout to her friend and his film Rocket Gang.

"Today one of my dear friends boscomartis debut film as a director has just released. One of the most talented choreographers and song directors in the industry, he has had such an important role in my growth as a dancer and performer I owe so much to him. Besides being a dear friend and going on countless drives and walks on the beach and hearing my endless talks during our years of working together. One of the brightest minds we have- the film is out today, go and catch it in cinemas #rocketgang," she wrote.

Rocket Gang- a much delayed film that is finally out now

Noteworthy, Rocket Gang was announced in May 2019 as the directorial debut of Bosco Martis. The film was supposed to start in March 2020, but was pushed to December 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Principal scenes were shot in the Konkan region of Maharashtra as well as Mumbai. Shooting was wrapped up in September 2021, but the film was further pushed to 2022 owing to covid-19 pandemic.

Rocket Gang also features a cameo of Ranbir Kapoor in the song 'Har Bachcha Hai Rocket'.
