A new chapter in Alia Bhatt's life is about to begin because she is expecting her first child with her husband Ranbir Kapoor. She announced the happy news of her pregnancy to her fans in June of this year. Professionally, Alia Bhatt has delivered back-to-back hits with RRR, Darlings, and now Brahmastra. The happiness in her personal life also seems to be a result of her marriage and pregnancy. But the actress is now even more unstoppable as yesterday, she received the Time 100 Impact Award and her acceptance speech is something which we can't get over.

Alia started her long acceptance speech by talking about her career and mentioning her parents and family. She said, “When I first started working ten years ago, all I could think about was how I would one day rule the world. How everybody, everywhere would know who I am and how diligent, clever, smart, brilliant, and perfect I am. I desired perfection and the recognition of the entire world. I'd like to thank my family, especially my mother Soni Razdan, who gave birth to me, my father Mahesh Bhatt, my sister Shaheen Bhatt, who helped me put my talks into words, and my husband Ranbir Kapoor. They deserve special recognition for putting up with me every day.”

“Tonight, I want to take a moment to acknowledge both my weaknesses and my virtues with all of you. However, I have a strong respect and regard for various cultures. It is well known that I have poor general knowledge. But I've worked so hard to develop my emotional intelligence. I've got a bad habit of being critical of my weight and appearance. But because, you know, YOLO, I never say no to an order of French fries. The last thing I want to say is that I hope I can keep having an impact in whatever way I can. However, for the time being, this prize has had a real influence on me—both me and my young child, who has repeatedly kicked me throughout this speech”
