When the lead was finalized and Vicky Kaushal's image as the Field Marshal of India was posted on social media, Meghna Gulzar's "Sam Bahadur" had already generated buzz. Additionally, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh will play significant roles in this movie. The actor who plays Sam Manekshaw in the movie "Uri" said that he started his preparations in July. Vicky has spent the last two months working nonstop on the project. The actor announced the completion of his filming schedule today.

The Sardar Udham actor shared a picture with director Meghna Gulzar on his official Instagram handle and wrote, “After more than 2 months of relentless work across 5 cities… it’s a SCHEDULE WRAPPP for the बहादुरs!!! Few more cities and a few more months to go. See you soon Team, to continue our journey of making #SAMबहादुर !!!” Vicky can be seen in the photo placing his hands around Meghna Gulzar's shoulders while they both face away from the camera. They were dressed in hoodies with Sam Bahadur's name on them. In addition to Vicky, Fatima Sana Shaikh will play Indira Gandhi. Sam Manekshaw's wife Siloo Manekshaw will be played by Sanya Malhotra, who also starred in the movie "Badhaai Do."
Vicky Kaushal’s work front
For the first time, Vicky will star opposite south beauty Samantha Ruth Prabhu in Aditya Dhar’s The Immortal Ashwatthama. He will be playing the male lead in Govinda Naam Mera which will feature two female leads Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar.
