The King Khan of Bollywood is back with a bang with his most awaited project Jawan. Ever since the project was announced everyone was waiting to have a look of it. Finally, the teaser of Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan came out yesterday.
Helmed by Atlee, the title teaser has taken social media by storm. The makers will soon unveil the character of their leading lady Nayanthara in the coming days. However, reports suggest that not Nayanthara but Samantha Prabhu was the makers’ first choice to play the female lead opposite SRK.
Yes, you read it right! Reportedly, Samantha was offered Jawan first but the actress couldn’t sign it due to personal reasons. Apparently, she was planning a baby with her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya and hence had to let go of this mega project. As Sam rejected the project, Nayanthara got lucky enough to bag the role.
Meanwhile, Kollywood lady superstar Nayanthara will be donning the role of an investigative officer while Shah Rukh Khan plays a dual role in Jawan. The film also features Priya Mani, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles. The film is set to hit the big screens on 2nd June 2023.
