Riteish Deshmukh is gaining weight as the director asks him to for upcoming film Mister Mummy
Riteish Deshmukh posts a video of him eating food while his belly is exposed. He also revealed to his fans that he is attempting to gain weight in preparation for his next film, Mister Mummy.

On Monday, actor Riteish Deshmukh posted a video of himself eating food with his belly protruding from his shirt. He captioned the video on Instagram, "I'm currently trying to gain weight for my next film, Mister Mummy." Riteish's wife, Genelia D'Souza, will also appear in the film.
In the video, Riteish wrote “Yeh low-calorie meal.” He also added a line from the film Shaan. The dialogue, that is viral on social media, says, “Ajeeb janwar hai. Kitna bhi khaye bhookha he rehta hai.”
"When your director asks you to put on weight for the film," Riteish added. #MisterMummy.” Riteish can be seen in the video wolfing down chapatis, rice, and curry while his shirt buttons are open and his belly is exposed.
Riteish and Genelia confirmed their collaboration in Mister Mummy in February. The comedy-drama is directed by Shaad Ali, who also directed Bunty Aur Babli, and is produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, Krishna Kumar, Ali, and Siva Ananth.
The makers shared the storyline and stated “Mister Mummy revolves around the story of a couple with opposing choices when it comes to children but destiny has something else planned for the childhood sweethearts on a mad, bumpy ride of comedy, drama, expect the unexpected from this labor of love.”
Riteish and Genelia will also appear in the forthcoming Marathi film Ved. Riteish makes his directorial debut, and Genelia makes her acting debut in Marathi cinema, with this film. The couple made their Bollywood debut appearance in 2003 with the film Tujhe Meri Kasam. They fell madly in love on the set of the film and later married in 2012.
