Kartik Aaryan to star in a sports film based on cricket?
Kartik Aaryan is currently filming his next Shehzada, which is the official remake of Telugu blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

Sports dramas have always been a hit amongst audiences. Bollywood has been actively making films based on some or the other sports of late. Now, it seems like a new film based on the sports of cricket might be announced soon.

After Ranveer Singh in 83 and Shahid Kapoor in Jersey, it looks like Kartik Aaryan will be the next Bollywood star to headline a cricket-based film. What makes us think so? Well, Aaryan took to Instagram on Tuesday and shared a post. The Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) star was seen clad in a cricket jersey and batting on the pitch. Captioning the post, he wrote, “Coming soon”.
His post has got everyone thinking if the actor is gearing up to announce a new film based on cricket. Aaryan has not done a sports drama before, so watching him in one will be a different experience for the audience.
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan is currently filming Shehzada in Delhi. Also starring Kriti Sanon in the lead role, the film is the official remake of Telugu blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020). The actor next will be seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 alongside Kiara Advani and Tabu. The horror-comedy film, directed by Anees Bazmee, is slated to enter theaters on March 25, 2022.
