Yami Gautam reminisces as her and Ayushmann Khurrana's debut film Vicky Donor celebrates its tenth anniversary

Actress Yami Gautam, who is currently receiving a lot of praise for her recent flicks, has shared a special post to commemorate the tenth anniversary of her debut film Vicky Donor (2012). Shoojit Sircar directed the film, which also stars Ayushmann Khurrana. On the occasion of its tenth anniversary, Yami took a trip down memory lane.
On Instagram, the Dasvi (2022) actress posted a photo of herself from her recent visit to the studio where she had given the audition for Vicky Donor. Yami was dressed in a denim blazer and cream slacks in the photo. She was posing while sitting on a sofa, with the Vicky Donor poster on the wall as a background. The picture was captioned by Yami as, "The place where it all began! Started my journey auditioning for Vicky Donor right here ! यह सोफ़ा भी यहीं था ! A recent visit to this studio took me down the memory lane, reliving so many beautiful moments through the journey! Thank you, Shoojit da & our entire team #VickyDonor."
Back then, Yami and Ayushmann were praised for their outstanding performances. Even the film's subject proved to be a game-changer. Vicky Donor was produced by J.A. Entertainment, Eros International, and Rising Sun Films, with John Abraham, Ronnie Lahiri, and Sunil Lulla serving as executive producers.
In the meantime, Yami is enjoying the success of her last film Dasvi (2022), which she co-starred Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur in. Director Tushar Jalota says that no one could have played the part of a police officer better than Yami.
