Shweta Tiwari’s upcoming web series Show Stopper is currently in the promotion phase. During a media event, she made a statement about her undergarment’s size being measured by God. She said, "Mere bra ki size bhagwan le rahe hai." (God is taking the measurements for my bra).

The joke was intended towards Sourabh Raj Jain, who is popularly known for playing the roles of God in TV shows such as Mahabharta (2013). Apparently, Sourabh is playing the role of a Bra Fitter in the series and in one of the scenes he is taking the size of Shweta. While she was talking about that incident, she slipped her tongue and made the controversial statement.

After the incident, the host of the event, Salil Acharya, said, "When she said God, she meant Sourabh because he is known for his mythological roles. Her statement has been taken out of context, and I really would like to clear the air."
