Shah Rukh Khan’s untitled next with director Atlee Kumar is resuming production today. Sanya Malhotra, who has been roped in to play an important role in the film, will join the current schedule, which is expected to last only a week or so. The actor's fans are very happy and excited.

Until September-October of last year, the untitled film, which also stars Nayanthara and Sunil Grover, was being shot between Mumbai and a few outstation locations.

Sanya had also worked with SRK for a few days around that time. Following a few ups and downs in the King Khan’s family domain, work came to a halt. The film is now back on track and will be finished soon. The current schedule focuses on a few key sequences.

According to a source, “Everyone was waiting to reunite and resume shooting for the film. People in the industry, and those in the know are already hailing it for its production value and storyline. The schedule will be a short one - SRK will get busy with Pathan and Sanya’s dates are blocked for her next, Hit: The First Case, with Rajkummar Rao. The rest of Sanya’s portions in the film will be shot later.”

Malhotra was last seen in Meenakshi Sundareshwar (2021) and has another release coming up this Friday in the form of Love Hostel.
