'It failed to acknowledge his great understanding towards life', Sushant Singh Rajput's sister slams Bollywood

Sushant Singh Rajput was one of the brightest young talents in the Hindi Film Industry. His sudden demise came as a rude shock to many, and there are fans who are yet to come to terms with it. While initial reports claimed the actor died by suicide, the late actor's fans and his family believe there was foul play.

Post Sushant's death, there was a scathing backlash against Bollywood, with the nepotism angle also gaining a lot of attention.

Recently, Sushant Singh's sister Meetu Singh took to Instagram to share a video of the actor originally posted by YouTuber PewDePie. She again blasted out at Bollywood for failing to value Sushant and his talent.

"Everybody recognizes Sushant n his genius but his own industry, Bollywood, failed to acknowledge his great understanding towards life and it’s mechanism, truly a tragedy. I’m really grateful to this Swedish YouTuber pewdiepie (Felix) for this heart-warming tribute for my only Prince (SSR)," she wrote, adding, "It is very rewarding to see my brother being appreciated and cherished. Bollywood killed Sushant out of jealousy and insecurity and now Sushant lives in every household. each n every family fights for Sushant as their own son," wrote Meetu Singh ( divinemitz) on Instagram.

Meanwhile, the Narcotics Control Bureau in its draft charges filed in the drug case linked to actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death claimed actor Rhea Chakraborty received multiple deliveries of ganja from the co-accused, including her brother Showik, and these were handed over to Rajput.

On 8 September 2020, Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the NCB in a drug case linked to the investigation of the death probe. Prior to the arrest, 9 others were arrested by the NCB in the drug case including Rhea's brother, Showik Chakraborty.

Rhea and Showik are currently out on bail.

Noteworthy, Rhea Chakraborty has also filed a complaint against the late actor's sisters, claiming they had supplied him psychotrophic anti-depressants without proper medical consultation and using a forged prescription. She requested an investigation into whether these had resulted in his suicide or a decline in his mental state.

Post this, Rajput's sisters had asked the High Court to cancel the FIR filed by Rhea. The Bombay High Court agreed to invalidate the FIR against Meetu Singh but upheld the FIR against his sister Priyanka, stating that there was "prima facie evidence" against her.
