The Archies: Musical by Zoya Akhtar starring Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Khushi Kapoor, gone on floors
The Archies have officially started production. Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda are rumored to be making their acting debut in the film, which is directed by Zoya Akhtar.

The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar, has finally gone into production after much excitement and anticipation. SRK and Gauri Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan, Boney Kapoor and Sridevi's daughter Khushi Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda are said to be the lead actors of the film, which will be released on Netflix. Filmmaker Reema Kagti took to Instagram to announce the start of filming by posting the picture of the clapperboard and captioned, "Archie’s shoot starts. #TigerBaby’s first solo production. Pictures of Suhana, Khushi, and Agastya from what appeared to be their looks from the Zoya Akhtar directed film went viral last month. Suhana was dressed in a black outfit with a blazer, while Agastya was dressed in a brown shirt and trousers. In a wig, Khushi stood out. According to the leaked images, Khushi is portraying Betty Cooper, while Suhana is perhaps playing Veronica. Archie is most likely being played by Agastya.
The four will bring the teenagers of Riverdale to a new generation in India with this musical, which will be their Bollywood debut. This new remake, unlike the American teen drama Riverdale, will have a 'Desi' twist.
It's worth noting that Zoya first announced the project in November, last year. However, she has yet to make an official casting announcement for the film. According to media sources, the film will be shot in Ooty and the nearby hill villages.
