Zakir continues by praising Kapil for treating comedians with the dignity they have always deserved. Further disclosing how his career in humor began, eminent comedian Zakir Khan says, "When I was a kid, we used to get comedy CDs from Raju bhai, Johnny bhai, and other comedians, and I used to adore watching them. Then, when I was in school, Laughter Challenge began, and if someone tried to be funny, my buddies would pull the wool over their eyes and encourage them to try the show as a joke. I would devote my time to watching the show, imagining what it would be like to act. I thought it would be easy after watching the episode, but after actually trying, I realized how difficult it is.
Zakir reveals an incident from his early days of stand-up comedy
Even Zakir will discuss the difficulties of being a stand-up comedian, he continues, "When I walked on stage to perform for the first time, I was taken off the stage after 2 minutes" (laughs). You might be hilarious in front of your friends and family because they understand the joke and can connect to it, but it is extremely difficult to tell a tale to strangers and get them to laugh; only a great comedian is able to accomplish that.
