Fans have been anticipating news regarding the return of these famous friends to the big screen ever since Fukrey 3 was first announced. Ali Fazal, an actor who had a major part in the first two movies in the series, won't be back for the third installment. While the insane celebrity cast will be returning on screen, fans are also a little disappointed that Ali Fazal won't be a part of it. Finally, the actor has explained his reason for not being a part of the movie.

“So Zafar aayega ya nahi?”, Ali asked, opening up about the same in a statement. “Baar Baar, Sab yahi puch rahe. I apologise, iss baari nahi, Saathiyon! Guddu bhaiya bhi banna padhta hai, Zafar bhai ko kabhi kabhi. Or do parallel universes overlap one another? I'm around because once a fukra, always a fukra. But I won't be appearing on screen for the Fukras, Bholi, and Panditji's third tour! Though time and scheduling prevented it, I would have liked to be a part of it. At some point in the future, perhaps earlier than you expect, I shall return. "

The movie has already taken a remarkable journey that has given the audience some of the most loved and famous on-screen characters, including Choocha, Pandit Ji, and Bholi Punjaban. The movie, directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and made by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment, stars Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Richa Chadha, Manjot Singh, and Pankaj Tripathi. On the auspicious festival of Krishna Janmashtami on September 7, 2023, the third part of the most popular comedy series Fukrey will be released.
